A fragment of a silver-gilt annular brooch. What survives is part of the twisted, flattened, rectangular section on which is a diamond-shaped flat mount, 14.55mm wide, one of an original four. The mount is decorated with a series of three wavy concentric ridges in the centre of which is a quatrefoil.

Notes:

This item is more than 300 years old and composed of more than 10% precious metal. It therefore should be considered Treasure under the terms of the Treasure Act 1996.
