Medieval copper alloy buckle: oval frame (16 x 12mm) with grooved triangular lip flanked by two narrow ribs, and offset narrowed bar; rectangular plate (>26 x 9mm) folded widthways and recessed for frame and with pin-slot, pin missing, attachment-end of front part missing, back part tapers to break across rounded perforated terminal. 16 x 19mm. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, fig.45, nos.306-10. 13th-14th century.
