Incomplete medieval copper alloy buckle with oval, lipped frame, wire pin and composite rigid plate. The latter has lost both its outer sheets and most of both prongs of the forked spacer. There are profuse file marks on both front and reverse. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, 78-82, nos. 322-30. Length more than 35mm. Width of frame 23.5mm. c.1330 - c.1450.
