Gold 15th-century posy ring, 18mm in diameter, with a hoop of consistent width throughout. The exterior surface is decorated with an unbroken groove running along the upper and lower edge, with floral sprays engraved into its surface in between. Punctuating the decoration are three black-letter words. One is easy to read, 'a'; another may be 'ma'; the third appears to be 'vie' which would read 'a ma vie' (to my life, or [he/she] has my life).
Compare LANCUM-082840 and PAS-9E5727.
