Pottery bowl body sherd. Fragment of a Samian Ware bowl, possibly of Dragendorff form 37, with moulded figurative decoration in two compartments separated by a beaded string. In the left compartment is a bear its with head down, below an eight petalled rosette. In the right compartment is part of a figure wearing a tunic; his right leg is raised and rests on a bucket shaped object while the left leg is straight; a right arm appears crooked, and may grasp a [?bucket] handle; there is an open disc below the 'bucket'. Suggested date: early Roman, 100-200.
