Lead net sinker or line weight. Cast tubular weight with central aperture of circa 10mm. This would be attached to the selvedge of a light net, or alternatively used as a line weight. Patinated overall, and lightly squashed. The form is related to that of earlier tubular net weights, but this example could not readily be removed once in position. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1500.
