Obverse description: A facing crowned bust, with a fairly narrow face, drapery at neck formed of two wedges, hair ropey. The right hand jewel of the crown is repaired with a pellet.
Obverse inscription: EDWR'ANGL DNS HYB; Comma between 'edwr' and 'angl.' 'S' has not got a pellet centre, as in class 8a.
Reverse description: Long cross three pellets in each quadrant.
Reverse inscription: CIVI/TAS/LON/DON
Initial mark: Almost a cross plain in form.
