An incomplete cast lead toy of late post-medieval to modern date. The toy is in the form of a horse with mounted rider. The riders head, horses tail and feet are now missing.
The rider sits on the horse leaning slightly forwards with both hands holding the reigns of the horse and is wearing a striped jersey, long trousers and knee high riding boots.
The horse appears to be in a canter with legs raised and the bridle wear can be clearly seen across the head of the horse with reigns resting around its neck and a saddle and blanket beneath the rider.
The metal has a mid yellowish-grey colour and is worn. The toy is 59.3mm long, 24.8mm wide, 9.8mm thick and weighs 38.4g.
