Post Medieval cast copper alloy foot and leg from a cooking vessel. It is roughly D-shaped in section, with a flat reverse and five ribs running down the convex front. The ribs are evenly spaced with one at each outer side. the central rib is more prominent than the others. There is no apparent separate foot as with similar examples (SOM-C2EC85) and the leg terminates to a nearly flat end. The top of the leg is wider than the foot of the leg and depressed where the foot would have attached to the main body of the metal vessel.

Butler, Green and Payne (2009, pg 4) suggest that legs of this form, although usually with a collar separating the foot from the leg, their type c, were in use in the 16th Century and widespread by the 17th Century.
