Cast lead alloy uni-faced token of later medieval or post-medieval date (1200-1800). The token is regular in plan (being broadly circular) and profile. The upper face is decorated with a cast design comprising a cross formed from vertical and horizontal ribs with a single pellet in each divided angle of the cross - these pellets are positioned irregularly. A high circumferential rib is present around both the upper and lower faces. The reverse is flat, plain and undecorated. The overall design can be compared to of Powell's type 14b - possibly designed to simulate medieval coinage. The token is a grey colour with a polished surface patina.
The token measures 15.5mm diameter and is 3.6mm thick; it weighs 5.92 grams.
