A Post Medieval Buckle dating from AD 1575-1700 and made of cast copper alloy. It is double looped and asymmetrical with one trapezoid and one D shaped loop. The D shaped loop has a projection from the outer edge which is in the shape of an acorn. There is a slight knop at each end of the bar. The buckle is in good condition and is without any decoration.
It is 27.70mm in length, 1651mm in width, 3.63mm thick and weighs 2.30gm. The pin and plate are missing.
