A fragment of floor tile tile. A coarse, sandy fabric with occasional larger quartzite stones (up to 6mm). The core of the fabric is a reduced mid grey and the margins are oxidised red. There are folds visible in the fabric from the rolling and kneading of the clay during manufacture. The surface of the tile is decorated with four incised curving concentric lines. Probably part of a floor tile.
