A complete, age uncertain, crudely cast, lead alloy probable pot mend or repair. The pot mend is oval shape, medium size with a recess between inner and outer surfaces to form a rivet to repair a hole in a ceramic pot. There is some cooling contraction marks on one side forming a slightly concave surface. The pot mend is an attractive pale grey with a matt surface. This object is of uncertain date possibly Roman to Post Medieval. The object is 24.35mm long, 21.55mm wide, 9.04mm thick, diameter 24.35mm and weighs 22.9g.
