Incomplete Roman copper alloy possible terminal from a knife handle, vertical openwork rectangular-sectioned arrangement of two large perforated discs, surmounted by two smaller perforated discs with an oval-sectioned knop at the apex with twin grooves. The large discs, partly covered by lumps of iron corrosion, spring from a rectangular base that projects from a slightly arched rectangular platform, originally flanked by two large trefoil-shaped leaves with broad grooves and containing a very corroded inserted iron tang. Length 64mm. Width 31mm.
