A Post Medieval copper alloy maravedis of King Phillip III of Spain (AD1598 - 1621). The coin is countermarked to the value of eight maravedis. The coin is dated 1618 and counterstamped 1652.

Countermarking was a common practise in the reign of Philip IV (1621-1665 AD).
