A cast lead alloy possible weight or unfinished spindle whorl dating from the Medieval to the Post-Medieval period. The object is circular in plan and oval in cross-section. The surface of the object is uneven and worn. There is a shallow depression on the top of the object.
Numerous spindle whorls, lead waste and an unfinished spindle whorl have been found in the same field adding to the possibility that it is an unfinished spindle whorl.
