Modern cast copper alloy military button. The button is circular and convex bearing a shield showing 3 cannons arranged in a column and a row of 3 cannon balls above. It is the insignia of the Royal Artillery. The integrally cast circular attachment loop is present on the reverse and around this traces of lettering detailing the manufacturer are visible as "[...]*HARRIS*BI[...]This button is dated c.1790-1840.
