100 sherds of Roman black/brown reduced ware, collectively weighing 948g. Several sherds are slightly reddened through fire contact. One sherd has a trace of rectilinear possible grafitti. Several forms: Cavetto rim jars, some black and burnished; Shallow vertically sided dishes, some with a slight external bead; Bowls with external 'Pie dishes'. Very few other forms, jar with only slightly everted rim and fragment of a lid (Young, C. BAR 43, type R76.2)
