A large medieval copper-alloy buckle with integral forked spacer. The frame is D-shaped and the lip is pinched and notched. A forked spacer extends from the frame. A copper-alloy pin wraps around the pin bar. The pin has a small collar. The forked spacer is capped either side by a rectangular sheet of copper-alloy. The back-sheet has a small rivet hole in the centre at the attachment end where it would have secured to the front-plate. Either side of the hole is a small copper-alloy rivet. The front-plate is decorated with a perimeter of rocker-trace design, with a zig-zag motif running across the centre. The front-plate has a circular hole in the center at the attachment end, and a copper-alloy rivet either side.
