Medieval or post-medieval rectangular sheet copper alloy mount with rivet hole near each corner. Two contain remains of copper alloy rivets, one with a square rove now adhering to the reverse. A third is filled with decayed iron and the fourth is iron-stained. There is no decoration. 39 x 32.5mm. Thickness 1.3mm. Date uncertain, perhaps 14th - 17th century.
