A complete flint scraper of Mesolithic date (9500-4300 BC). The lithic is sub-cunate in profile, the dorsal surface contains four predominant negative scars with corresponding arrises. The left hand edge has been abruptly blunted and there is retouch to the proximal, distal and right hand edges. There is a minor amount of cortex retained to the proximal right hand edge. The ventral surface is slightly concave with only minor flaking to the proximal edge.
The flint is a light grey with cream inclusions throughout. The cortex is a light cream colour.
