An incomplete Early Post-Medieval (1500-1650) cast copper alloy double-oval loop buckle frame, missing most of one loop and its pin. It measures 20.95mm in length, 24.95mm wide, 3.15mm thick and weighs 2.97 grams.
There is a lobed knop at either end of the central bar. Similar buckles can be seen in Whitehead (2003) pp.54-6, which he dates between 1500 and 1650
