A lead and tin alloy mount in the shape of a octofoil. The mount has a raised central boss and domed petals, with a long integral shank on the reverse. The shank appears to be piercing an iron disc, of approximately the same size as the mount suggesting that this is a composite belt mount of the later medieval period (c. AD 1400-1450).
