A copper-alloy Medieval to Post Medieval buckle of c. AD 1400 - 1600 date.

The buckle is sub rectangular in shape and double looped. both loops are sub rectangular in shape. The pin and strap bar are still present.

The frame measures 17.6mm long, 15.7mm wide, 3mm thick, and weighs 1.81g. similar buckles can be seen in Whitehead, pages 75-76.
