A Medieval clipped silver halfgroat of Edward IV (AD 1461-1470), minted at Canterbury. Initial mark: illegible (North 1991: 88, ref: 1590).

Obverse: [ ]GL Z F[ ]; Crowned bust facing, knot below bust (probably no other marks)

Reverse: Outer: [ ]SVI/DEVM A/DIVTOR/[ ] (I have made God my Helper); Inner: CIVI/TAS/CAN/TOR; Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant (no spur)

Diameter: 18.6mm. Weight: 1.06g. DA=12:12.
