Post-medieval cufflink formed of two silver buttons joined by a link. Both buttons are stamped with the motif of a crown above joining hands and two flaming hearts beneath within a plain border. Soldered on to the reverse of both buttons is a central silver wire attachment loop. These attachment loops are joined by an elongated silver wire loop, thus forming the cufflink.
This design of a crown above joining hands and two flaming hearts beneath is found on other buttons, including 2012 T125 and 2012 T523. Such designs are believed to commemorate the marriage of Charles II to Catherine of Braganza in 1662.
