Copper alloy key. Cast rotary key with a loop (now lost) and collared end to its hollow stem. A rectangular with a single cleft bit bears a pair of longitudinal grooves on either side, though these are now so worn as to make it uncertain that they were functional rather than decorative. Very worn, with part of stem lost exposing its hollow centre. Suggested date: Medieval, 1250-1400.
