An incomplete copper alloy pin that dates to the Early Medieval period. The pin is polyhedral in shape, with ring and dot decoration on each of the faces as decoration. The shaft stems from the bottom of the head, but is broken with only 10.48mm remaining. The metal is a green/brown in colour. It weighs 2.6g and measures 18.48mm in length. This types of pins generally date to the 8th and 9th centuries, but are broadly Early Medieval in date. For a parallel see Griffiths, D., Philpott. and Egan, G.
