A fragment from the rim of a cast lead alloy cooking pot of Medieval or Post Medieval date (1300-1600). The pot is dark grey in colour, with a burnished inner surface and a unworked outer surface that is coated in carbonised soot. The rim is rounded down on the inside only, and the fragment is undecorated. The fragment has a slight inwards curve from the rim downwards. The wall is 2.7mm thick. The fragment is too narrow to estimate a diameter.
