A flint multi functional tool dating from the Neolithic period, about 3500 BC - 2100 BC. The tool is formed on a blade of translucent grey flint which is slightly patinated and which is lozenge shaped in section. The distal end is a hinged termination. The proximal end has been removed and retouched on an oblique angled. The right edge has invasive retouch forming a knife blade, and the left edge has abrupt retouch at the proximal end to form a scraping edge.
