A complete copper-alloy bead of uncertain date. The bead is 16.5mm in diameter, 7.3mm internal diameter, 13.85mm in height, c.5.5mm thick at the circumference and weighs 11.75 grams.
The bead is circular in plan and expands towards the centre before narrowing at the base. It is decorated with thirteen raised circumferential bands which are separated by thirteen circumferential grooves. The grooves in the centre are slightly wider then the grooves at the edges c.0.75mm and c.0.6mm respectively.
The bead survives well and has a mid-green patina.
