A complete flint oval scraper of Neolithic date (3500-1500 BC). The lithic retains much of its cortex on the dorsal surface. Flaking has been used to remove cortex from all edges and mesial portions of the lithic, all edges have been retouched. The ventral surface is smooth and retains no cortex, there is evidence of flake removal predominantly to the distal and right hand edges which is most likely a continuation of the retouch to these edges. There is a small bulb of percussion situated to the right hand side of the distal end on the ventral surface.
The flint is a light brown with cream inclusions throughout, the cortex is light cream in colour.
