Finger Ring. Cast ring with band representing a belt with a rectangular buckle serving as bezel. The band is broken opposite the bezel and its ends have slightly sprung apart. Hallmarked with maker's initials within band: JG&S [anchor left] [r] [lion left]; the finder kindly reports this is the Birmingham assay office mark for the year 1919.
