A rather odd piece of chert (2) and a waste flake (1). The odd piece of chert has undoubtedly been worked but the purpose of the working is not apparent. It may just have been struck as an idle task or as practice. It may have been used in the fabrication of lithic implements, possibly as an anvil or a hammer. They probably date from c8300 - c2100 BC.
