A contemporary plated forgery (some gilding remaining on copper-alloy core) of a British Iron Age North Eastern stater, c. 40 - 10 BC. This is a copy of an uninscribed 'Ferriby' type stater (attributed to the Corieltavi). British Museum nos. 3167 - 3171 (Hobbs 1996).

Dimensions: 19.2mm diameter, 1.8mm thick. Weight: 2.81g.
