Four fragments of probably Medieval wall sherds from ceramic vessels.

1. The largest is 70mm long, 42mm wide, 10.34mm thick and 34.6g. The fabric is grey on the inside and orange on the outer face. Half of the outer face is covered by a brown green glaze. The laminated and hard fabric has sparse quartz and mica inclusions. The sherd has broken where weakened by a very large rounded pebble (11.2mm long, 8.5mm wide) in the fabric.

2.33.4mm long, 30.3mm wide, 8.9mm thick, 10.65g. Grey fabric, hard and fine, wiped on inside and glazed on the outer face with a crazed dark brown to black glaze. Quartz inclusions.

3. 30.65mm long, 29mm wide, 5.4mm thick, 5.18g. Hard but abraded fabric, grey on inner face and cream on outer face. Rough quartz inclusions. Speckles of clear glaze on the outer face.

4. 24.1mm long, 23.9mm wide, 5.08mm thick, 4.4g. Angled fragment, possibly from the base and wall join. Pale tan coloured throughout, hard and smooth fabric with abraded breaks. Few visible inclusions of grey grit or quartz.
