VESSEL

Unique ID: SWYOR-9722F1

Object type certainty: Certain

A rim fragment of a probably Medieval ceramic vessel. It is too small to estimate the rim diameter. It has a thickened and beaded rim. The fabric is hard and irregular, buff on the inner face and pale grey on the outer face. The outer face and top of the inside are coated with a thin yellow grey layer, perhaps the remains of a slip or glaze. There are poorly sorted grog and quartz inclusions.
