Rim sherd. Grey-buff sandy fabric with occasional quartz inclusions. A flat squared rim almost at right angles to the adjacent vessel wall, from a beaker. The surface bears a pale slip. Abraded. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1500. This sherd was kindly identified by Helen Fry and Sandra Firth of the North Lincolnshire Pottery Research Group.
