A worked, roughly circular, lithic core of Mesolithic or Neolithic date. This core is not flint, but chert, and was probably imported into Lincolnshire, possibly from North Yorkshire. It has had blades removed from it in different directions. It is 31.7mm long, 29.3mm wide and 15.5mm thick. It weighs 11.4gm.
