An early post medieval cast copper alloy mount or stud dating to the 15th or 16th centuries AD. The mount is cast in one piece in a trefoil shape with moulded decoration on the surface. There is a single pointed lug protruding from the centre of the reverse. The mount is 18.8mm long, 20.4mm wide, 3.2mm thick and weighs 2.7 grams.
