A copper alloy cast rectangular belt mount, of D shaped section with a rivet hole of 1mm diameter towards each end. The rivet holes are wider, as if countersunk, c.2mm, on the reverse face. It was probably used as a belt stiffener. The convex surface is apparently smoothed by wear. The mount tapers from 3.80mm to 4.28mm wide, it is 13.82mm long x I.91mm thick and weighs 1.2g.
