An incomplete cast copper alloy mount of post-medieval date. The mount is circular in plan with a convex front face decorated with evenly spaced concentric rings expanding from a central knop. The knop appears to be damaged and incomplete and the outer edges are broken and worn. The reverse is concave and undecorated with a centrally positioned, square sectioned attachment shank projecting out to terminate in a worn break. A faint casting line can be see to either side of the integrally cast shank.
The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The mount is 28.4mm in diameter, 6.3mm thick and weighs 7.7g.
