A Medieval - Post Medieval silver pin probably dating c. 15th - 17th century. The pin has been made in two pieces with the shank passing through the globular, spherical head. The head is decorated with curving, radiating grooves. There is no collar at the junction between the head and the shaft. There is a slight curve to the shaft.

As the finger ring is greater than 300 years old and is more than 10% silver it fulfils the requirements of the Treasure Act 1996.
