A cast copper-alloy mount of Medieval date. It is a quatrefoil mount with a hollow back. It comprises a central domed circle which is surrounded by four equal sized circular lobes. There is a central circular hole for a serperately cast rivet which is missing. There is no decoration. It measures 14.99mm in length, 14.94mm in width, 3.46mm in height and weighs 0.61g.
It is similar to examples publised from London (Egan and Prtichard, 1991, no 943).
