A silver denarius of the emperor Hadrian (AD 117-38) dating to the period AD 119-122 (Reece period 6). The obverse depicts a laureate head facing right with drapery on left shoulder and is inscribed [IMP CAESA]R TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG. The reverse depicts Salus seated left holding a patera and feeding a snake and is inscribed PM T R P COS III//SAL AVG in exergue. Mint of Rome. RIC II, p 356, no 137.
