A cast copper-alloy mount of Medieval date. It is a circular flat mount with a flat back and a central, integral square rivet which is bent. The face is decorated with a central circular pellet surrounded by four evenly spaced pellets at the compass points with spirals between, all within a border. On the outside edge there are two opposing knops made up of three circular pellets and two comprising a single pellet between them. It measures 15.97mm in diameter, 9.85mm in height and weighs 3.45g.
It is similar to examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no 815).
