An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval cast copper-alloy button (c. 1475-c. 1600 AD).
This button is cast in one piece and has an integral drilled shank. The top is domed with moulded decoration consisting of a multi-bladed impeller around a central pellet.
The shank is incomplete due to a break across the attachment hole. It is corroded and has no patina.
