A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is an oval frame with an ornate outside edge. It is circular in section and the bar is offset and narrowed for the pin which is missing. The outside edge is decorated with two knops with a constriction between them which has three grooves, the centre of which would have acted as a pin rest. It measures 21.85mm in length, 17.69mm in width, 2.41mm in thickness and weighs 2.18g.
It is similar to examples published from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, no 299).
