A cast copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval date. It is an ornate double oval frame which is oval in section. The bar is slightly narrowed for the pin which is missing. Each side of the frame consists of a circle flanked with two semi-circles which are joined by a knop at the top and bottom of the bar. The circles are decorated with radiating lines. It measures 36.49mm in length, 22.22mm in width, 3.26mm in thickness and weighs 7.95g.
