A Medieval lead alloy personal seal matrix, c.1200-1300 AD. The matrix is circular in plan with trapezoidal lug projecting from the undecorated reverse. The obverse has a crudely incised inscription surrounding a crude cross pattee. The legend reads + S' EDM'. F' ThE (Seal of Edmund son of Thomas).
